NOTE: This is the muzzle + 4 straps to attach to halter. Halter not included.

The GreenGuard Grazing Muzzle is truly the most comfortable grazing muzzle on the market. It limits grass intake as much as a traditional basket muzzle, but is more comfortable, lighter, and cooler with a patented open design that allows for unrestricted breathing and drinking. Made of material that is non-toxic, semi-flexible, durable, and does not absorb moisture, GreenGuard Grazing Muzzles often last much longer than traditional muzzles because horses aren't constantly trying to remove and destroy them. Muzzle comes with 4 breakaway safety straps that attach to a standard halter (we recommend a safety halter),

SIZING (U.S. and Canada only): These muzzles are designed to fit much larger than traditional muzzles. If your horse is between sizes we recommend going with the larger size. Horse size typically fits horses with 12.5-15 cm bit size, Pony fits 11-12 cm bit size, and Mini fits < 11cm bit size. See size chart below.

We have a comprehensive video tutorial to help you determine the correct sizing as well:

CAUTION: Horse and Pony sizes may not fit in some types of automatic waterers if the diameter is less than 26 cm (10.2 inches). Please check to ensure the muzzle will fit in your waterer before ordering.

The Complete Set-Up
This is our step-by-step full walkthrough on how to set up the GreenGuard Grazing Muzzle before it ever touches your horse. From attaching the straps to connecting it to the halter, this is a comprehensive tutorial.

Attach Muzzle To a Standard Halter
Does your horse have a halter they are comfortable in? This video shows you how to attach the GreenGuard muzzle to a typical halter. This is especially useful if your halter does not have a center face strap. You can also stop rubbing on your horse's nose or chin before it starts with some gorilla tape.
